first to fight.

i got good news today regarding my husband. and we were both happy about it.

after it all set in, my husband told me he was rethinking his stance on whether or not he would go on another deployment.. to afghanistan.


now, i'm not a Marine or in any military branch. so i will never understand or feel the need and urgency to fulfill my duty. not to say that my husband is some (as my mom likes to call it) "crazy marine". but he understands what his responsibility is... to his family and to the corps.  


of course i dread long nights and lonely days without my husband.  even though he is not in the infantry (and from what i've recently learned, they are referred to as "grunts") there is still danger present. 



P.S. he will totally hate the quotes i posted. but, after reading a ton of "USMC quotes", these are ones that i would wholeheartedly have to agree with.
