triple stack.

Today, I was overwhelmed with pride as I watched my husband be promoted to the rank of Sergeant serving in the United States Marine Corps.  A big reason why I am so proud is because I know that one of his goals as Marine was to get out as a Sergeant.

I got to pin on his new chevrons, which up until a few weeks ago, I didn't know was kind of a big deal.  So, while this blog may not be of much substance to you, it's kind of a big deal to me!

(as a side note, I'd also like to add that I was presented with a bouquet of flowers.  which i totally was not expecting!! And after the ceremony one of his bosses came up to me saying it was a token of appreciation for me because it's said that the hardest job in the corps was being the wife of a Marine.)
