This breaks my heart. My ex is a Marine and is currently in Afghanistan. I think about him all the time but can't imagine the pain I'd have to endure having to deal with this kind of loss. My heart goes out to her and her family. -KSF
it was a very touching photo-essay. my husband just got out of the marine corps yesterday, and his unit deploys to afghanland in a month. i am thankful he chose to get out instead of go, given he already served in iraq. but my heart goes out to everyone who has a piece of them overseas! glad this post got to you!
