it was my day off, after working six days in a row. i was fucking excited!! i went to drop my car off to the shop so it could get serviced and checked out before my drive to san diego. my sister was MIA so i hit ate ferl up and she brought me.
we were hellllllla hungry so we ate at my favorite sushi spot in the peninsula... MASU!! let me say a little something about masu. their service tends to suck (except for this time. i noticed new staff). and there are definitely other sushi joints that are decent and cheaper. but their food is DELICIOUS. i first found out about this place when i finally reconnected with my dad after not talking to him for hella years and one of our first "reconciliation" dinners was here. i had the tuna poke salad and the hamachi kama. and until this day, i recommend those two items for anyone eating at masu for the first time. as far as rolls go, i usually get the lion king roll (not the one from the lunch menu though). i ordered the lion king roll, a spicy scallop roll and the hamachi kama. ate ferl got the yum yum yummy roll and the tofu salad. we were supposed to go to the mac store, but we were helllllla full. so we just went home. as soon as i got home, i took a two and a half hour nap. haha. i was in so much of a food coma i had to cancel my plans for dinner and shooting.
later that night, after i recuperated, my sister and lam asked if i wanted to go watch the orphan. it was good. not a stupid scary movie. of course before we went, i had to sneak in a monster. it was soooo worth it. cantaloupe, mango and watermelon kind. mmm... sarap. =)after the movies, i came home and caught up with the hung series. and then ko'd.
